Welcome to this exciting program at Nodaya Dining Bar, located at 16-30 Bunn St, Pyrmont, NSW 2009. This program is designed and hosted by the Foodnote Members Program. Nodaya, rated 4.8 on Google, is recognized as a premium Japanese whisky bar with a high reputation among business people. However, together with Nodaya’s owner, Hiro-san, we have decided to run this special program to appeal to younger generations and those who would like to explore Japanese whisky culture and local bar experiences in a casual yet fun way. Participants will have the opportunity to actively engage in making their own whisky cocktails and connect with other members from the Foodnote Platform!


  • You will be introduced to 3 kinds of Whisky selections: one for men, one for ladies, and one from the special collection, along with the table manners of drinking whisky.
  • Hiro-san, the owner of Nodaya Dining Bar, will show you how to describe the taste of each whisky in a professional way, just as locals do in a fine bar.
  • Two rounds of whisky cocktail making experience in which Hiro-san will demonstrate how to mix a whisky cocktail, and you will have the opportunity to try as a bartender and let your friends try your own-made whisky cocktail.
  • Full of laughter, whisky, music, and new friends!
